Piazzolla Duo, The

The Piazzolla Duo perform an extensive repertoire for flute and guitar, playing music from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods through to the Romantic and the contemporary, with notable performances of Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos and Albeniz. On a lighter level, the duo play requests ranging from Bach to the Beatles, Gershwin to Lloyd Webber, including show tunes and film themes. Ruth and Clive are currently promoting their forthcoming CD ‘Tango, Bamba, Samba!’ with a series of concert, radio and T.V. appearances. As well as concert programmes, The Piazzolla Duo can provide music for celebrations, events and festivals.
