The band was started in 1979 when John Fogarty and a handful of other local pipers gathered together for their common interest. It soon blossomed into a full Pipes and Drums band, with John being appointed as the band’s first Pipe Major. Places are available for piping novices through to experienced players and the band runs its own Piper/Drummer Training Program. Age range about 10 to adult.
